 Are Ford Parts Recession Proof?
With the recent recession, there’s a lot of concern about car companies and their lasting power. Which ones will withstand the current economic climate? Which ones will be there for you and your car? As far as car parts go, it’s quite possible that Ford parts are completely recession proof.

Ford Motor Company was founded in the early 1900’s by American icon Henry Ford. Even then it was built as a resilient company that could transform the way American’s lived, worked, and got around. It even revolutionized the way machines were made—Henry Ford invented the assembly line that would come to dominate the American production industry. The company was started with a few thousands of dollars and is now today a multimillion, multinational corporation. It’s been in business for over 100 years, and in that time the country has undergo seven (yes, seven) recessions, and even, notably, the Great Depression, where the economy was so far beyond a recession that many people thought it would never recover. But, in the spirit of the American entrepreneur that Ford has come to represent, Ford found a way to survive the Great Depression and become a titan of industry. Through a century of experience and expertise, Ford has learned how to weather the storms of fortune and change and remain steady for their customers who will continue to need Ford parts and Ford racing parts to support their Ford vehicles and race cars.

Of course, you don’t become recession proof just by learning all the tricks and lasting through several bouts of difficult times (though that certainly doesn’t hurt anything). You also have to have a conscious and current commitment to providing value and quality. When it comes to cars that means every part of the car has to be both affordable and long lasting. Ford and Ford parts have followed through on that idea. From start to finish, the car is designed with the consumer in mind; not just the comfort of the car’s cabin, but the safety of the parts, the cost to the consumer to purchase the car initially and the maintenance costs the consumer will face farther down the line. That’s also why Ford vehicles, from their sedans to their trucks, are consistently rated high and their customers are loyal to the brand. If a company can consider not only you, but also your bottom line, why would you ever consider switching to another brand? Ford parts delivers on a tried and true promise to take care of you and your wallet, because they know exactly what it takes to get through tough times.

On top of all that, Ford cars, and the Ford parts they run on, are, depending on the model, often some of the most fuel efficient cars on the road. So even while they save you money with their extensive longevity, they save you money on top of that with ensuring that no matter how much gas costs in the future, you’ll be able to use as little of it as possible.

So what does that mean for you, the consumer? It means that Ford parts are still, like the company, built Ford tough, and it means that Ford vehicles are a sound investment for your hard earned money, even in these uncertain times. A good rule of thumb is if you’re weathering a storm, be it financial or otherwise; let someone who has been there before guide you out of it. Your Ford parts and Ford vehicle will be around for probably another hundred years; long enough for you to withstand your own run of fluctuating economies.
